Submit videos fast…

Fri, 27 June 2008 in Video Marketing

Ok, you know how much I love video marketing.

Well, I’ve finally decided to get off my lazy butt and start making real videos. You know, the kind where I actually appear in the video rather than constantly hiding behind Camtasia…

Now, I can’t promise you any star performances, as you will definitely see in this video:

Oh, and if you want to get the software that I am talking about in the video, go to www.SubmitVideosFast.com.

Enjoy!

Matthew Glanfield

P.S. Part way through when I switch to screen capture (yes, I hide again…) the volume gets quieter. I’m not sure why that happened, but hopefully I’ll have it figured out in the next video.

Sorry… ;)

P.P.S. One of my employees makes a “guest” appearance in this video. See if you can find him/her…

    Matthew,
To keep you audio constant, it depends on what video/audio editing software you use…but the procedure is called “normalization”. Another option is to use a cool little app called the Levelator (just Google it). There are a few other ways such as using a consistent recording setup (same mic + software) to record the audio in the first place…

BTW, I met Cyndi at Ken McCarthy’s System Seminar in May where I was the Faculty speaker on the topic of Internet Video…charming and smart lady!

Thanks for another excellent video example!

Great informational video. Not bad at all.

Were you using a webcam, tripod or someone was using a camcorder? I always use screen capture software myself but I would like to show my face from time to time like Todd Gross does.

What I like is how you initially indicated your URL was an aff. link, and how you take us into the members area as opposed to just telling us the features about Traffic Mom. I’ll definitely check it out as it is a bit much cheaper per month than Traffic Geyser.

Thanks for sharing another awesome weekend tip, Matthew.

    Hey Matthew,

Great video, although you need better lighting…

Is that Christine lurking in the background?

And what is that sound at the very end…Sounds like
    an electric saw…

Well, you have convinced me…I will do lots of videos…

    Maybe you can critique them.

    Alain Tanguay.

P.S. That sound difference is not really bad.

Good to finally see your face. I watch all of your videos…you and Todd Gross should get together on the voice-over thing because you both have great audio voices.

Keep sending the good stuff to us.

Good job Matt (may I call you Matt? - we Kiwi’s tend to lean towards the informal)

How about letting the ‘wandering in the background’ Christine Jackson, I suspect, front some for you?

Not that you’re not good looking - but :-)

Seriously, congratulations! I still haven’t had the guts to ‘go public’ (but will soon - pity it means I have to shave beforehand - one of the perks of working from home is the ability to be scruffy when I want to )

    Again - Congratulations! Great job

    Cheers,
