    Matthew,
Congratulations! You’ve done it again. This
video is excellent. Can I pass along the link to my
    list, (such as it is)?

    Hi Matthew,

This was an excellentsummary of the issues involved.

I particularly enjoyed your run-through of Google Analytics. I use it myself and find the amount of stats available from it overwhelming. So you clarified that for me.

Thanks. If you feel the urge to do more on Google Analytics- I for one would be really pleased.

I think your precise statistical analysis on the issues was great too. People don’t get the importance of knowing the numbers.

    Good stuff!

    Cheers,

I appreciate your help. Have had a website for over a year but have not made any money. Would be happy with even $500 a month.

    Thanks for the comments…

Don - yes, of course you can!

And yes, I will be doing some more videos on Google Analytics and how you can use it without getting overwhelmed (I know I did at first).

The Google Analytics are great! I never knew about it. I installed the free software like you suggested and I’m looking forward to doing some better research.

Another neat tool from Google is https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/siteoverview
It lets you know if you are indexed and if your site map is indexed. This is also free.

    Keep up the good work.

    Matthew,

    Thanks for the great info.

I find it interesting that so many people are unclear about the “numbers” game when it comes to understanding their business, whether it be online or offline. Understanding and utilizing analytics is arguably the single most required skill to achieve success in buisness.

Thanks again for sharing this info.

    Hi Matthew.

Another excellent video. You just keep coming up with great instruction.

Google Analytics - Probably like many, I find the information overwelming. Your video helped make it a little clearer, but I would be interested in knowing in more detail just what I should be doing with Google Analytics.

    Thanks again Matthew.

    Thank You Matthew,

Thanks again Matthew,I don’t care what your wife says about you, your alright in my books!

    Thanks Guys,

That is good information, I’ve been using other tracking software but it does not clarify the traffic sources near as well as the google analytics. I will definitely put the google analytics to work for my sites.

    Thanks Again,

Matthew, this was an exceptional piece of work, but that’s gotten to be typical of what we see when tackle these questions.

By the way, I was disappointed to find that Overture was bought by Yahoo, mainly because it doesn’t seem they are continuing what Overture did. Yahoo needed their skills and systems, but apparently for another functional purpose.

I found Wordtracker, but are there any sites you would recommend for this kind of keyword study?
    Thanks,
    Mac McGuire

    Dear Matthew,
I have two websites, as well as two e-mail addresses, on both I get your offers for videos and seminars. There is so much to learn and I find your videos most helpful.

On my websites I sell health products over a shopping cart, anywhere from one to three orders a day, resulting in an average of $250.00 in sales. I advertise my products in health food store magazines, as I also wholesale to stores. I also advertise my websites with a FREE Newsletter, where I believe most of the visitors (consumers) come from to subscribe.

I have collected over 1,500 Newsletter subscribers this way, but have not sent a newsletter yet, as I have not figured out all the details for the squeeze page - and how to avoid being kicked out as ‘SPAM’. I have purchased the mailing software program “Mailloop” which I need help with.

I also don’t know how to register with Google Statistics. The girl which worked with me knew how to get statistics, but she left a while ago.

There are a lot if things I need to and want to learn, wherefore I had sent you an e-mail a few month ago, asking you for monitoring or coaching sessions on a one-to-one basis. In the past I have subscribed to so many programs and sessions and lost thousands. Most promise a lot and keep collecting $$ and just keep selling you more stuff which does not help. There is no assistance or any personal help.

I certainly would appreciate your critiquing my websites, as I need to improve on them in order to sell more product.

All the best for a Happy and Successful New Year. Siegfried
